anima is designed to help students navigate college or university life. It can help you find information, talk through questions or challenges, and connect with relevant people and services at your institution. anima may be offered or promoted by your institution, but is provided and operated by Reflectrr Ltd.

You must be at least 18 years old to use anima. You must also have an eligible institution-provided email address so anima can connect your account to the correct college or university.

You are responsible for providing accurate account information and keeping your login details secure. You should not share your account with another person or use someone else’s account.

You may use anima for personal student support and other lawful purposes. You must not use anima to:

• harm, threaten, harass or impersonate another person
• attempt to access another person’s account or information
• interfere with anima’s systems or security
• introduce malicious software
• use anima in a way that violates applicable law

anima uses artificial intelligence to provide responses and personalised support. AI can sometimes misunderstand what you mean or provide information that is incomplete, outdated or incorrect. For important academic, financial, legal, health or other significant decisions, you should confirm relevant information with the appropriate institution, service or qualified professional.

anima and its Signals are designed to support students and staff. anima does not make important institutional decisions about you.

anima may suggest a person or service at your institution that could help. For a normal handoff, anima will ask before sharing your details. If you agree, anima may share your name, contact details and the reason for the handoff so the person or service can follow up with you.

anima may help identify appropriate support if you tell it about a safety concern. Your institution may also configure a safety escalation process within anima. In serious situations, this may result in relevant information being shared with a designated person or service without a separate handoff request.

anima is not an emergency, crisis or healthcare service. If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate emergency service directly.

How anima collects and uses personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Your conversations are not available to your institution, although anima may provide your institution with Signals and related information as described in the Privacy Policy.

anima may provide information from your institution, government services or other sources. We aim to provide useful and relevant information, but information can change and we cannot guarantee that every response will always be accurate or current.

We aim to keep anima available and reliable, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. We may update, change or temporarily suspend parts of anima where reasonably necessary.

anima, including its software, design, branding and underlying technology, belongs to Reflectrr Ltd or its licensors. Using anima does not give you ownership of any of this intellectual property.

You can stop using anima at any time and can delete your account from within the app. Your access may also end if you are no longer eligible to use anima through your institution.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reflectrr is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, anima. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would not be permitted by law.

We may update these Terms as anima develops or where legal or regulatory requirements change. If we make material changes, we will take appropriate steps to let you know.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Reflectrr Ltd, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
